If you want to print your deck of cards, the print dialog comes up as it should.
But regardless of your choice (printing or not), the dialog closes and opens up again. This process is repeated a couple of times and only then it closes "forever".

I changed the way to print the cards from 
generating a .png file to a .pdf file now

The Method has to make a line feed if the
content is longer than one line.

Some of the used methods are depracated and have to be replaced. For this here is a "migration guide" from the developer of the PDFBox library.
