macOS Gatekeeper Warning: Platypus App"

Hi there,

I'm using the Platypus app for creating my custom macOS app. It is very basic app. It is working fine. but while installing it shows a warning message "Developer ID not verified". I'm not well-versed in macOS code signing, but I managed to verify the developer ID using my developer application certificate. After the developer ID, a new warning message showed "macOS can’t check the app for malicious software"

Please let me know how I can solve this issue.
I have a developer ID and I'm very new to the macOS app.

My understanding is that if you don't have a paid Apple developer account you can't remove this message. In most cases it be worked around by opening the app through the right click menu (Right Click -> Open).
